Lunch & Learn: New Job Search and Recruitment for Returning Adults

WCDA aims to provide at least one (1) professional development opportunity per month for its members. Please join WCDA for our May Lunch & Learn professional development opportunity. 

Starting the search for a new job can be an exciting but nerve wracking experience. This session will provide practical guidance on crafting strong resumes, preparing for interviews, and building confidence through effective preparation strategies. The session will highlight how to clearly showcase skills and experiences, navigate interviews with professionalism, and prepare intentionally for career opportunities. Attendees will walk away with actionable tips they can apply immediately to strengthen their job search and career readiness.

Audience: This event is designed to provide professional development for academic advisors, career development professionals, workforce development professionals, coaches, counselors, and educators.

Certificate of Attendance: A certificate of attendance, noting 1 clock hour, will be available for individuals who attend this professional development event.

Pre-Registration: Pre-registration is required. A Teams link will be emailed to registrants the day before the event.

Cost: $0 for current members of WCDA and is open to non-members. If you are not a current member of WCDA, consider joining WCDA for a $25 annual fee.
